Getting There

Las Cascadas sits on the southeast shore of the Nicoya Peninsula, above the quaint seaside town of Montezuma. International visitors arrive to Costa Rica at the Juan Santamaría International Airport in San José and walk to the adjacent Sansa Domestic Terminal (about 50 meters). A 20-minute flight brings you to Tambor, from which Las Cascadas is a brief 25 minute drive.

The Scenic Route

If you have more time and want to travel by road, the property is also easily accessible. An hour and fifteen minute drive from San José, past rainforest and sandy beaches, brings you to Puntarenas, from which a hour-long car ferry carries you across the Gulf of Nicoya to Paquera. 45 minutes more by car will bring you to Montezuma and Las Cascadas.

Getting Around

Las Cascadas is ideally located to bring the best of the Peninsula within arm's reach. A five minute drive brings you to the beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and shops of Montezuma. From Montezuma Beach, you can walk north for 4 uninterrupted miles along white sand beaches. To the south, 10 minutes on a country road brings you to the surf breaks of Cedros and Cabuya. Five more minutes and you arrive at the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve. The country seat of Cóbano, where you'll find supermarkets, restaurants, and the Bank, is 10 minutes to the east. Another 20 minutes east from Cóbano brings you to the world-famous surf breaks of Malpaís, Playa Carmen, and Santa Teresa. Rainforest, surf, sand, sun... or walk out to your pool and dive in.
